Field account
The Rivetmaw Scrapper smiled with a punch press where teeth belonged. Rivets sat in the altered jaw like feed stock, flattened and fired with a snap of the neck. Extra joints let its arms reverse around cover while a coat of labels, leather, and bell metal rattled across the rail yard. Scrappers understand tools, measurement, and value. Waste offends them almost as much as theft.
Observed behavior
A Scrapper makes a quick cut, steals one useful object, and retreats through low industrial cover. It pins clothing with fired rivets and coordinates with tool taps along the rail. Clear the ground of loose hardware and interrupt those signals, and a practiced ambush becomes a series of competing individual thefts.

Soft lead, wet leather, or bent wire caught in the punch mouth blocks the firing mechanism and forces a painful manual clearing.
