For visitors in the United States and its territories, anonymous analytics is on by default and can be turned off here. Other and unknown regions begin with analytics storage denied unless the visitor allows it. Advertising, personalization, names, emails, search terms, and reading progress are excluded everywhere.
A separate first-party counter records privacy-limited page activity without a browser identifier. Choosing “Turn off” also suppresses that counter for this browser.
